UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS RESEARCH PARK
These projects are all located in the South Center of the University of Illinois Research Park. We worked closely with the developer of the Park, Fox/Atkins Development, L.L.C., to provide buildings that were within the budget, fit the University context, and provided flexible, high-tech office space for the Biotechnology and Information Technology firms that would be moving in. The result is a series of buildings that will last for years to come without becoming obsolete.

Restaurants and nightclubs provide an interesting design challenge. The building codes and health codes are very explict, yet the client has a specific idea for the atmosphere of the space that cannot be sacrificed.
